Important note

This page is a platform terms draft for Seathu. It should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before full commercial launch, payment scaling, or marketplace expansion.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of Seathu, including the public website, merchant storefronts, customer accounts, merchant dashboards, AI commerce tools, checkout flows, order-support features, and related services.

By accessing or using Seathu, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

These Terms apply to customers, visitors, merchants, store operators, administrators, and any person or entity using Seathu services.

2. Role of Seathu

Seathu is an AI-powered commerce platform designed to help merchants present products and help customers discover, compare, and move toward purchasing decisions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Seathu provides the technology platform, storefront tools, AI assistance, support-routing features, and commerce workflow infrastructure.

Individual merchants are responsible for their product listings, product accuracy, pricing, tax treatment, invoices, fulfillment, shipping, cancellations, replacements, returns, refunds, customer communication, and legal compliance for the products they sell.

3. Merchant responsibilities

Merchants must provide accurate business information, support details, product information, pricing, availability, delivery terms, return/refund terms, and any required tax or invoice information.

Merchants must not list counterfeit goods, stolen goods, restricted goods, unsafe goods, misleading products, products that violate intellectual property rights, or products prohibited by applicable law or Seathu policy.

Merchants are responsible for ensuring that their store, products, images, descriptions, claims, discounts, warranties, and customer promises are truthful, lawful, and not misleading.

Merchants must handle customer issues in good faith, including order questions, delivery issues, payment clarifications, returns, replacements, and refunds where applicable.

4. Customer responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate account, contact, delivery, and payment-related information when placing orders or using Seathu services.

Customers should review product details, merchant information, shipping terms, return/refund conditions, and checkout details before placing an order.

Customers must not misuse Seathu, submit false orders, abuse support channels, attempt fraud, interfere with platform security, or use the platform for unlawful activity.

5. Products, prices, availability, and listings

Product images, descriptions, prices, availability, delivery estimates, discounts, and other listing information may be provided by merchants and may change over time.

Seathu may help display, organize, or recommend products, but the merchant remains responsible for the accuracy and legality of product-related information.

Seathu may remove, restrict, hide, or review listings that appear inaccurate, unsafe, misleading, unlawful, abusive, or harmful to platform trust.

A product being visible on Seathu does not automatically mean that Seathu manufactures, owns, endorses, guarantees, or independently verifies that product.

6. Orders, payments, delivery, and fulfillment

Order acceptance, fulfillment, dispatch, shipping, delivery, cancellation, replacement, return, and refund handling may depend on the merchant, product type, payment method, delivery location, and applicable policy.

Where Seathu provides checkout or order workflow tools, those tools support the transaction process but do not remove the merchant’s responsibility for fulfilling valid customer orders.

Payment methods shown on Seathu may vary by merchant, location, configuration, and availability. Customers should follow the payment instructions shown during checkout.

Seathu may display order status, payment status, tracking details, and support guidance based on available merchant and platform data.

7. Returns, refunds, cancellations, and disputes

Return, refund, replacement, and cancellation rights may depend on the merchant’s policy, product category, order status, delivery status, applicable law, and payment method.

Customers should review the Refund & Return Policy and any merchant-specific policy before purchasing.

Seathu may assist with support routing, order visibility, and communication, but final resolution may depend on the merchant and applicable law.

If a dispute arises, users should first use the available support or contact channels so the matter can be reviewed and routed appropriately.

8. AI assistant and automated guidance

Seathu AI may help customers discover products, compare options, understand store information, review order context, and navigate support or checkout flows.

AI responses are generated from available context such as products, store details, customer messages, order information, FAQs, policies, and platform guidance. AI may not always be complete, current, or error-free.

AI assistance should not be treated as legal, financial, medical, tax, safety, or professional advice.

Users and merchants should verify important information before relying on it, especially pricing, stock, order status, delivery timing, return/refund terms, and payment details.

Seathu may improve AI features over time, including voice, chat, product recommendations, order assistance, and commerce-support flows.

9. External websites and third-party services

Seathu may link to or integrate with third-party services such as hosting, authentication, database, analytics, communication, payment, AI, shipping, or marketplace services.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, fees, availability, and operational rules.

If Seathu later shows external marketplace suggestions or brand website suggestions, those suggestions should be clearly marked as external. Seathu is not responsible for external website pricing, stock, delivery, returns, refunds, content, or transactions unless expressly agreed in writing.

10. Accounts, access, and security

Customers, merchants, and administrators are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity that occurs through their accounts.

Dashboard access, private account areas, order details, merchant tools, and admin tools are restricted to authorized users only.

Seathu may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if misuse, fraud, security risk, policy violation, unlawful activity, or harmful behavior is suspected.

11. Content, media, and intellectual property

Merchants and users must only upload or provide content, images, product data, logos, text, and media that they own or have permission to use.

Seathu branding, platform design, software, workflows, UI elements, AI commerce concepts, and related materials are owned by Seathu or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

By providing store content or product content, merchants allow Seathu to display, process, organize, and use that content as needed to operate storefronts, search, recommendations, checkout, support, and related platform features.

12. Prohibited use

Users must not use Seathu for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, misleading, defamatory, obscene, infringing, spam-like, or security-compromising activity.

Users must not attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, data scraping, platform abuse, payment manipulation, fake orders, impersonation, or interference with Seathu systems.

Seathu may take action against accounts, stores, content, listings, or activity that may harm customers, merchants, platform trust, legal compliance, or operational safety.

13. Privacy and data use

Seathu may collect and process information needed to provide accounts, storefronts, checkout flows, order support, merchant tools, security, analytics, AI assistance, and customer support.

Use of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy. Users should read the Privacy Policy together with these Terms.

Merchants must handle customer data responsibly and only for lawful business purposes connected with orders, support, fulfillment, and customer communication.

14. Platform availability and changes

Seathu may update, improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time, including AI features, storefront tools, dashboard modules, checkout flows, support paths, and pricing plans.

Seathu aims to provide a reliable platform, but continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

Maintenance, third-party service issues, network problems, security events, or operational changes may affect platform availability.

15. Limitation of responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Seathu is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business-loss damages arising from use of the platform.

Seathu is not responsible for merchant-side product defects, false merchant claims, delayed fulfillment, failed delivery, incorrect merchant information, customer misuse, third-party service failures, or external website transactions unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

16. Indemnity

Merchants and users agree to protect Seathu from claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, damages, costs, and expenses arising from their misuse of the platform, unlawful activity, inaccurate listings, customer disputes caused by merchant conduct, intellectual property violations, fraud, or breach of these Terms.

17. Governing law and dispute handling

These Terms are intended to be governed by applicable laws of India, unless another mandatory law applies.

Users should first raise concerns through Seathu support or contact channels so the issue can be reviewed and routed appropriately.

For formal disputes, jurisdiction and dispute handling may be determined based on Seathu’s registered business details, applicable law, and any final legal terms adopted by the company.

18. Updates to these Terms

Seathu may update these Terms as the platform evolves, including changes related to AI features, merchant tools, pricing, support, payments, social commerce, marketplace integrations, or legal requirements.

Continued use of Seathu after updates means the user accepts the latest version of these Terms.

19. Contact

For support, legal, privacy, merchant, or platform questions, users should contact Seathu through the official Contact page. Official email addresses may be added once Seathu email setup is completed.
